"The Golden Link," written in 1891 by Ermina C. Stray and published by John H. Paton (author of Day Dawn and former associate of Charles Taze Russell). Paton's group broke with Russell's group about 1881. Russell was the first president of the Watchtower Society (now known as Jehovah's Witnesses).

"Day Dawn," by John H. Paton (Second edition). This is the first revision to the book Day Dawn, originally published in 1880 and which had been the first book distributed by the Watchtower magazine, which originally was edited by Charles Taze Russell along with Paton as a regular contributor to the journal. Russell became the president of the Watch Tower Society -- now Jehovah's Witnesses. This revised edition of Day Dawn was not endorsed by Russell and Paton and Russell broke fellowship.

Barbour and co-edited by Charles Taze Russell for about two and a half years. In the summer of 1876, Russell accepted Barbour's understanding of biblical chronology, believing that Christ had returned invisibly in 1874. Russell and Barbour broke fellowship in 1879 and Russell went on to start Zion's Watch Tower and Herald of Christ's Presence in 1879...
